Grand Canyon Jeep Tour
Adult - $63.00 - Child Under 12 - $31.50 + tax & applicable fees
Follow in the footsteps of early visitors to
the world’s greatest natural wonder – the Grand Canyon. Our
adventure tour begins
in the backcountry of the Ponderosa forest, where you’ll discover the
history of the area, from Native American peoples to the first tourists. Along
the way we’ll be on the lookout for wildlife, with a chance to see deer,
elk, turkey and other species that inhabit the area. As we near Grand
Canyon we join the old stagecoach route from Flagstaff, and learn about
hardships early tourists experienced as they came to visit this majestic
work of nature.

We arrive at historic Grandview Point along the rim of
the Canyon, where you’ll see how early prospectors seeking mineral
wealth turned from mining copper ore to enticing visitors to the area.
Learn about Pete Berry, proprietor and owner of the now vanished
Grandview Hotel and Last Chance mine, and the role he played as one of
the pioneers of Grand Canyon tourism.
